Airline fined for in-flight dance routine

Posted on: Aug10 2012 | Leave A Comment

(Yahoo!News) Here’s one way to deal with the stress of flying — bring on the dancing girls!

A Vietnamese airline is being fined for featuring in-flight entertainment by a troupe of bikini-clad women. The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam fined the airline $20 million Vietnamese dong, or about $960, because the show had not received official approval. Passengers on the Vietjet Air flight from Ho Chi Minh City to the coastal city of Nha Trang, however, didn’t seem to mind. Many cheered and took pictures and videos of the dancers, all of whom were vying for the title of Miss Ngoi Sao. One clip that was uploaded to YouTube has been viewed more than 230,000 times so far.
